Kimberly Huffman, the director of the orphanage to which our vitamins go, left a thoughtful message on her blog expressing her appreciation for this project. We are happy to know that what we are doing is inspiring, and that we are making a difference. You can see the blog post at http://huffmansinkenya.blogspot.com/2012/03/vitamins.html.

Peter received his first vitamin last week. Peter is the orphan that does all of the photography for our site! Many of the children haven’t been able to take the vitamins because there has been an outbreak of ringworms among the children. The vitamins and the ringworm medication do not mix well, so they are just now beginning to regularly take them.
Next Monday, February 20, 2012; we have been scheduled to be interviewed. The interview will play on Sunday the 26th, on all four of Foster Communications radio stations. If you are available please tune in to KIXY, The Fire, Cool100, or KKSA!

The article, “Orphans in Africa” covers the sad topic of why there is such a vast amount of orphans in Africa. Many reasons lead to these precious children being abandoned. Anyone can help these poor children.
